Spintronix Indoor Guard Has Two Teams for 2022

Beginning in the 2022 season, Spintronix is hosting TWO competitive winter guard teams instead of their usual single team.

The regular team, simply named Spintronix Indoor Guard, consists of students aged 12-22 and will compete in the Independent Regional A class of the Mid-Continent Color Guard Association. Our nearest region is Springfield, Missouri and therefore this team will be competing mostly in that area. The team practices and performs only on Saturdays to allow for students to participate even if they are in after school activities, hold an after school job, and/or attend church on Sundays.

Positions on the SIG team are still open, and anyone who is interested in joining is invited to check out more information on our Winter Guard page, and register to attend a clinic in November on our Events page.

Our newest team, Spintronix World Indoor Guard, has been selected for the season and consists of members ages 18 and up. They will be competing in the Independent World class of both MCCGA and Winter Guard International, culminating in a World Championships performance in Dayton, Ohio. This team rehearses every weekend on both Saturdays and Sundays, and you can catch one of their performances by checking out the schedule on our Winter Guard page.

Both teams this year are sponsored by Band Shoppe. Our costumes, flags, and airblades are all incredible quality and look great on the floor thanks to this great company. If you are looking to purchase equipment for your own team, definitely check out BandShoppe and tell them that Spintronix sent you.

As always, cheer us on over on all of our social media channels. You will be able to watch full vlog episodes on our YouTube channel, plus meet the staff and team members on our Instagram and Facebook pages. Be sure to subscribe and follow us there, because as our social media following grows, so does our ability to open our doors to more students and give back more to our performing arts community!
