About the event
Spintronix is assembling our first-ever VIRTUAL COLOR GUARD program! Come learn from some of the most incredible instructors in the country and be a part of the magic as we create our virtual production.
Who can join:
Anyone with color guard experience is welcome to register for our virtual team! We will have several sections including flags, rifles, and sabres at multiple skill levels.
Keep in mind that a working knowledge of the following tools will be essential to all members:
- Google Classroom
- Video conferencing
- Filming yourself spinning in an open space!
What you need to provide:
- A mobile device with internet and the Google Classroom app.
- Your own camera that films video at least 780p quality.
- An open space where you can practice and film (filming in an area with a neutral colored background is preferred but not required).
- A piece of equipment (everyone will be provided with a performance silk, but you must have your own flag pole, and weapons must provide their own white rifle or sabre depending on their section).
- Solid black "bottoms" to wear with your costume. Pants, capris, leggings, shorts, etc. are all acceptable.

This is a ticket to be a member of the FLAG LINE for the Spintronix Virtual Color Guard. You will be e-mailed with login information for our Google Classroom. You will receive one performance costume and one performance silk by mail. You will need to provide your own flag pole, bottom of uniform, and video camera.
